1 medium onion
500g minced meat- Lamb, beef.
Lean mince is lower in fat OR Quorn if you are vegetarian
1 or 2 garlic cloves
1 Large(400g) tin chopped or whole tomatoes
1 tablespoon tomato puree
1 oxo cube
You can add any or some of the following: mushrooms/ carrots/ celery/ pepper(red, yellow, or green) Any other suitable ingredient (ask your teacher if you are not sure).
To make chilli bring fresh chilli or chilli powder and a tin of red kidney beans
You can get dried herbs from school for spaghetti bolognese. These are free from school.
For lasagne you will need some lasagne sheets, an ovenproof dish and cheese sauce ingredients. (See your teacher for these)
If you want to make shepherds pie bring 500g. of potato and an ovenproof dish.
If you are just making the sauce you will need a container with lid to take it home in.
